Beautiful repeat flowering apricot climbing rose
‘Compassion’ is a vigorous, repeat flowering climbing rose with a strong, upright growth habit making it ideal for training over a wall or fence. From July to September it blooms and produces clusters of fragrant, shapely, pink-tinged, coppery-apricot double-flowers with glossy dark green foliage on red stems. This hardy rose has an excellent resistance to disease and will thrive in any aspect, except north facing, as long as it is in the full sun and planted in moist, well-drained soil. ‘Compassion’ has been awarded the Award of Garden Merit given by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), which helps gardeners make informed choices about plants.
